I Love You Michael Jackson...
I can't remember a time that I didn't love Michael,
some of my earliest memories revolve around him..
I remember when I was in first grade that I had my own pair of glitter socks and would wear them every single day until I just wore them out.
He had such a gorgeous smile..
When I saw him dance in Smooth Criminal I just thought he was pure MAGIC!! ...How could he lean like that?? Haha it just boggled my mind :0)...
Me and my sister would even sometimes wear that curl running down the middle of our faces, just like Michael...
I will never tire of watching him dance...he was like no other..
and there will never be another like him..
I still can't believe it...
I love you Michael, thank you for all the wonderful memories..I know you are happy and free now..I will never ever forget you..
I pray for God to watch over your children.
Let's all continue to try and make this world a better place...
We Had Him:
Beloveds, now we know that we know nothing
Now that our bright and shining star can slip away from our fingertips like a puff of summer wind
Without notice, our dear love can escape our doting embrace
Sing our songs among the stars and and walk our dances across the face of the moon
In the instant we learn that Michael is gone - we know nothing
No clocks can tell our time and no oceans can rush our tides
With the abrupt absence of our treasure
Though we are many, each of us is achingly alone
Piercingly alone
Only when we confess our confusion can we remember that he was a gift to us and we did have him
He came to us from the Creator, trailing creativity in abundance
Despite the anguish of life he was sheathed in mother love and family love and survived and did not more than that
He thrived with passion and compassion, humor and style
We had him
Whether we knew who he was or did not know, he was our's and we were his
We had him
Beautiful, delighting our eyes
He raked his hat slant over his brow and took a pose on his toes for all of us and we laughed and stomped our feet for him
We were enchanted with his passion because he held nothing
He gave us all he had been given
Today in Tokyo, beneath the Eiffel Tower, in Ghana's Blackstar Square, in Johannesburg, in Pittsburgh, in Birmingham, Alabama and Birmingham England, we are missing Michael Jackson
But we do know that we had him
And we are the world.
Beloveds, now we know that we know nothing

I love you.
This blog brought tears to my eyes.
I LOVE MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!! You're right so many of our childhood memories revolve around him. From trying to do the moonwalk, lean against gravity (that never worked out..lol)to like you said the curl down the middle of our faces haha... laying in front of the t.v. pretending like we were one of his back up dancers in Thriller...he will always live in my heart! ALWAYS!
His dance, his music, the feeling of peace from his smile and his great love of helping children and giving back to the world doing what he could in his power even though people threw so many made up stories and lies in his face, he still gave back!
WE had him but FEW truly LOVED him. He was NEVER wacko jacko... He was and always will be the KING OF POP, MICHAEL JACKSON!
R.I.P. Michael...
